Drifa Brewing Company is a unique co-operative brewery located in Marquette, Michigan, along the shores of Lake Superior. Our mission is to bring exceptional craft beers to the Upper Peninsula. We are one of nine co-operative breweries in the United States and the only Co-operative brewery in Michigan.

Important Announcement 

Dear Drifa Members and friends we have made because of Drifa,

What a wild ride these last couple of months have been! From announcing our closing to jumping back into sale talks with interested buyers, and now finally coming to the end of the road—we’ve reached the finish line.

Our doors will officially close on October 1st, making Wednesday, September 30th our very last day of operation.

We’re not bowing out quietly, though! We still have plenty of good times lined up to carry us through the month. We’ll honor our pre-planned events, pour brews at the upcoming Beerfest in a couple of weeks, and release several planned beers along the way. If supply allows, we might even throw a pop-up party or two, so keep an eye out for updates!

A quick reminder for our mug club members: if you have a mug sitting on our shelves, please stop in and bring it home before October 1st. Also, our friends at Lakeshore Grill plan to stay open through October, so check their social media pages for details.

We’ve attached our music schedule for the month below. Please keep checking our Facebook page and website for special events or announcements. We’d love to see your faces one last time—or several times!—before we say our final goodbyes.

Serving this amazing community of friends has been an absolute joy, and this place will always hold a special spot in our hearts. Thank you for all the laughs, toasts, and incredible memories over the years.

Drifa Brewing Company is unique as the only co-operative brewery in Michigan and one in nine in the United States.  Drifa stands out for its community-driven approach to craft brewing. We are open to the general public and concentrate on creating a welcoming environment for all of our visitors

Do you offer brewery tours to the public?

No, we are a small brewery and when coming into the taproom you can see our entire production area from the door.  It is open to the public and if you are lucky you will  get a chance to chat with our head brewer Erica as she is creating her amazing brews. If you are super interested in learning about our brewing process, we can chat about scheduling an hour or two to spend with the brewer as she is working for the day. 

Can I host a private event at Drifa Brewing Company?
Absolutely! Our brewery is available for private event bookings, providing a unique and memorable setting for your special occasion.
